I must admit I was skeptical that I could find anyone to help me improve on my mixing skills (and I use that term lightly). However, Matt has met and exceeded what I hoped to gain. I was initially reluctant to start with a bit of work on the foundation of mixing- I wanted to jump in- but waiting was a smart move and I am now much better prepared to understand why and how things work the way that they do. Matt is patient, he listens, and he understands the motivation to want to be as good a mix engineer as one is a musician. In today's world, where good music can be made so very easily, Matt shows you how to translate a creation into something that can be proudly made public.

I feel really blessed. I wrote my first song and was struggling to produce it on my own. Man where do I begin. Matt was extremely real and honest with me. He responded quickly and was straight forward about everything. He is absolutely perfect at his craft. I had my first lesson on music production with Matt the other day and what a great way to kickstart my journey off as a home producer/artist. Matt helped me learn some of the foundational in's and out's of home production so that I could apply the knowledge wherever I go no matter the room size or anything like that. After our lesson, he emailed me the lesson notes too, which were both detailed and to the point. He's a great guy with a cool personality and demeanor and I'm definitely going to continue taking lessons from him. The 150+ 5 star reviews just speak for themselves.
As a bonus, before I even had my first lesson, he helped me figure out a technical problem I was having with my interface and now everything's great.

I think what I appreciate most about Matthew is his integrity & heart for what he does & how he does it. He really shows up with an honest & pure energy and a rare mentality of just being real. No ego. No desire to control. Just a genuine desire to connect to you and nourish your idea and vision. He really makes you feel seen and heard and values what you’re bringing. It is such a vulnerable thing to make music. It’s like bearing your soul and it’s not easy to trust someone enough to give them access to something so precious. It’s exciting but can also be scary. If I can pick up to 5 items up there, I would. I’ll keep this short because I can truly go on & on. But working with Matthew after just one session is truly something I’m keeping close to my heart. Not only does he know how to do his f***ing thing in the studio but his communication and the way he can connect with an artist is astounding. In my most humble opinion, that is the most important thing when it comes to recording anything—communication. His patience, dedication, and compassion he has working with anyone in their can make anybody put their guard down. I have been to 5 studios in the past 4 years. He’s my number one. Can’t rate Matt and his studio highly enough. Not only did he get back to me very promptly, but as someone who has done studio work before I can tell you Matt knows what he is doing, is well worth the $$$ (which is an extremely reasonable price), and both he and his studio have an awesome vibe. Extremely excited to have found this guy and his killer little place right down the street. Three years of buildout paid off. I’ll be back to record multiple songs in the near future and I’m looking forward to every minute of it.
Matt is great at what he does. He’s a true professional and gave positive and constructive feedback when needed. His communication both prior to and throughout our sessions was great. A totally down to earth, friendly environment in a top-level pro studio is hard to get sometimes. Well, Matt does everything to make it happen. Mic and preamps sound fantastic, his amazing mixing skills can be seen right away, the entire tracking process was very easy and comfortable. Matt is very professional and obviously cares about the quality of what he is making. He is very responsive and made the process of starting the project very easy and took a little weight off of my shoulders. He knows good music and really tries to feel you out as an artist before starting, and it shows. Matt was so fun to work with! On my bucket list was to write and record a song. I was so nervous but he was so cool and everything from the studio, equipment, and Matt, in general, was so professional! Talked to him over the phone, told him what I wanted the song to be like, etc. and he got me in to record right away. After a fun night recording, I told him my deadline and he sent me the mastered version right on time and it didn't even need any revisions even when I can't sing for the life of me, the voice tuning he did was so amazing! His editing skills are unbelievable! Matt is extremely talented! Will definitely be calling him again if I get some more inspiration to write another song! Thank you Matt!

This state-of-the-art facility was designed and built by acclaimed studio designer, John Brandt.
In addition to amazing acoustics, the studio is equipped with the following monitoring:
Mains: ATC SCM50ASL’s paired with two 15″ Rythmik DS1510 subwoofers
Midfield: Yamaha NS-10M + Bryston 4BST amp
Nearfield: Auratone 5C + Crown D75
Headphones: Sennheiser HD600 + Sonarworks, Sony MDR-7506 (tracking), Audio Technica ATH M40x (tracking)
-2 hour minimum charge, sent as a deposit, is required in order to book and reserve your studio session. This covers 2 hours studio time. Can accept: Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, Apple Pay, PayPal
Please Note:
-Initial deposit must be submitted upon scheduling in order for the lesson/studio session to be booked/reserved.
-Studio sessions and lessons are not considered booked/reserved until the deposit is received.
-Deposits are refundable if you cancel or reschedule 72 hours or more prior to the scheduled session/lesson time.
-Deposits for studio sessions scheduled less than 72 hours in advance are non-refundable.
-All cancellations are final.
-Studio time clock starts at scheduled session time.
-Minimum 2 hour charge applies to all studio sessions, even if less than 2 hours.
-If the studio session exceeds 2 hours, the hourly rate is applied and the remaining charge is collected at the conclusion of that session, before the artist leaves the studio.
